Loggerhead Marinelife Center is one of Florida’s most visited nonprofit scientific destinations focused on ocean and sea turtle conservation. The facilities include a sea turtle hospital, a research laboratory, and exhibit areas including live sea turtles and other coastal creatures.

The Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society sponsors conservation projects in numerous parts of the world. The majority of this work deals with species that are represented in the Zoo's collection. The zoo houses more than 550 animals (190 species), many of them endangered, within 23-acres of lush tropical habitat.
